"If you are travel savvy and have good insurance, you are only partly prepared for traveling.  When something goes really wrong, you need a travel consultant with experience and heart. Roger Kershaw exceeds all expectations.

"My husband and I were touring Eastern Europe this summer [having booked everything ourselves on line] and broke up the 40-day trip with a river cruise where we thought we would be pampered instead of doing things on our own as we had for the rest of the time.  Everything went wrong when we were in Sevastopol, Ukraine.  Dave was taken by ambulance to a Russian-speaking-only hospital. For a week, I struggled alone to bribe, survive and try to understand what was happening and what was expected of me, and that included providing all food, drugs and bandages, toilet paper and cleaning of the bathroom.  Everything required cash. No VISA was taken anywhere, including a travel agency where I tried to book plane tickets to get home.

"Finally, I emailed Rog, with whom I had dealt previously.  His very prompt response on email --within minutes-- was 'no problem, m’love, it’s done.' From a week where everything was a problem, everyone was a problem, and figuring out everything written in Cyrillic alphabet was a problem, this was good to hear.  And it was no longer my problem alone.

I wanted to thank you once again for another memorable trip!  We had a really great time in Vancouver - who wouldn't if it involved the following:

 - Driving around in Porsche (wow!) and pulling up to restaurants like Lumiere (great recommendation - thank you for getting us reservations) and Lift!

- Testing out the power of the vehicle from Capilano to Grouse and throughout the island.  

- Watching Canada Day fireworks from our cozy hotel room -unobstructed view and no crowds, which was spectacular.  

- Hiking up Mt. Seymour w/ friends and ending our blissful holiday at our friend's wedding.

I just got home and wanted to let you know how wonderful my trip was.  It was the best trip of my life, so far!  I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.  None.  Only praise!  When I can speak past the lump in my throat!  The Galapagos Islands are now a part of me...sounds corny I know, but it’s true.  The people I met along the way, my fellow passengers, the crew and especially the Naturalist Guide, made it an absolute pleasure.  I’ve never been on a trip where I didn’t want to come home eventually.  Until now.  I did not want to leave. - Susan

Quick note from our trip.

Flemings Mayfair was great. The apartment was a bargain. Huge. The kids loved London and want to go back.

Eurostar was a breeze. So it's that easy now to get from London to Paris? Wow.

And then, the Paris apartment. It's perfect. Beautiful. Historical. Plenty of room. Fully equipment. Plus -  location location location. Right at the foot of he Louvre. Views of the Siene. Funny old cage elevator the kids love.

Once again, you have very happy clients. And the weather is perfect. Warm. Sunny. Not a drop of rain. Thanks for arranging that as well.

We returned home last night from a fantastic trip to Arizona.  Everything went very smoothly.

We really enjoyed the upgrade to a casita at the Enchantment and the vip treatment we received at the Biltmore.  Our daughters have now been exposed to a new standard in travel which will be difficult to sustain!

The rafting trip from Page was a huge highlight and worth the long drive - thank you for the recommendation.

I just thought I would drop you this note to let you know that our honeymoon was fabulous!  The Wickaninnish Inn exceeded our expectations.  The property is lovely.  The restaurant is one of the best either of us have ever gone to (and we are fairly well-travelled).  The spa was also exceptional.  We were able to rest and restore and were pampered throughout. 

All of the travel arrangements unfolded without a hitch.  You were a fabulous asset and made easy what is usually difficult.  I have no hesitation recommending you to others and we will, of course, use you for all of our future adventures.

Hi Roger - We really enjoyed the Paraiso Maya and even ended up with a week of perfect weather.  The resort was a great choice for us with [our son] being 2 years old.  It was very kid friendly and had plenty to see and do. Thanks for the bulk head seats on the flight - it really saved us!  I still have my eye on Carlisle Bay for next time...  Julianne

Andrew and I returned from a truly relaxing and very memorable vacation in Vegas.  We wanted to thank you for putting it all together for us from start to finish.

The suite at Bellagio was perfect and gave us the opportunity to catch up on much needed sleep - we never got up before noon, except on our spa day.  The Spa package was exceptional.  Thank you for introducing us to Watsu!  We both enjoyed one of the best head and neck massages ever as well as a delicious lunch.

We took your recommendations [for dining].  You were right on the mark!

The shows did not disappoint either!  We really loved O and Ka.  Zumanity was very tasteful, while Love was certainly a feast for the ears and eyes. Please thank your 'concierge extraordinaire' for making all the arrangements on our behalf as well as getting us some of the best seats in each theatre!  You'd be happy to know that we got our passes to the Bank and had a really great night of dancing on Saturday.

All in all, it was a great vacation of relaxation, shows, delicious food and shopping.

Thank you for all the preparation, making sure that we caught our inbound flight on time and always being so responsive to our every wishes and needs.  We are definitely looking forward to our trip to Tahiti now!

Dear Roger - You are a star! The trip was fabulous. The Monasterio Hotel was definitely a highlight. I am in love with Peru and will definitely go back for longer. The arrangements were great ... the OE guides were terrific. Machu Picchu was fun and the train was a treat! The rain forest was also great - only 4 in our group and a super guide. Apparently the hotels in Cusco and Machu Picchu had been fully booked for months and no one could believe we had just booked! Clearly you are magic! Just wanted to check-in and let you know that our trip has been beyond our expectations in every dimension. ... just one true once-in-a-lifetime experience after another.  We are now in Beijing, absolutely soaking up every star that the Raffles 5 star experience has to offer.  Partly because we are now on our own, without the extended family obligations, partly because our hotels in Dali and Lijang were not as accommodating to the Western traveler (we were at the mercy of our Chinese hosts on this one) and partly because the air is so polluted in Beijing right now that we can't be out in it for very long.  It truly looks like a post-apocalyptic surrealist landscape-the visibility is one or two blocks at the most, then everything disappears in a gray smog.  But inside this hotel--"OMG" as my daughters would IM--posh is the correct British term for the space, the service, and the amenities.  Thank you for guiding us to it, and for all of your help with arranging this trip for us, in spite of our obsessive style of non-decision making, you hung in there and we appreciate your talent.  You clearly love your work, it shows in everything you do.  Thanks again - Cindy and Lee

Just wanted to let you know that Costa Rica is wonderful and this is one of those blessed trips where all is and will be well. The volcano erupted -- one giant red sparkler. The weather is too cool for Ticos, but perfect for us. Both Lost Iguana and Fonde Vela are lovely.

Most of all, the Swiss Travel guides have ensured that we have fun-filled drives, even on bumpy roads, and fill our heads so full of information that I have to keep updating my travel journal every five minutes as I remember yet another tidbit I forgot. Fabian took us from the airport to Lost Iguana and gave us a great dining recommendation.

But Enrique was the best -- please forward our compliments to his company. He knows every flower, bush, tree, bird, and reptile in CR. Thanks to him, we spotted(and photographed) 41 bird species within Cano Negro within 3 hours and that doesn't include those he spotted on the way. Not to mention baby Caymans, iguanas, sloths, etc.

Yet another terrific trip, Roger. Accommodations have been perfect for our group. Long Beach Lodge was beautiful and I think very reasonable for the cottages. Cox Bay was the perfect location, for kids and novice surfers. Timing as well has been perfect. Tofino was beautiful, but it was nice to have a scene change and three nights in Victoria as you suggested.
Golf for some of us, shopping for others. My mother loves this place.
